Can I take you to a moment?

I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before, and I always mention this when training clients in social media, but every corner, every angle of a home is its own moment. This trending sound is perfect for showing off each of those moments.

Take footage of the best moments in your current or upcoming listings, simply panning from one side to the other slowly. This could be the kitchen, the kitchen table, the living room window, a balcony, the front door, a reading nook, a garden … The possibilities are endless and you can feel free to create a Reel for every single one of them.

What you’ll need: A single video lasting up to eight seconds.

How to make it

Step 1: Tap here to view the Reel on Instagram.

Step 2: Tap the trending sound, then “use audio” to get started.

Step 3: Input your video.

Step 4: Tap “next”’ and add text to the centre of your video if desired. Remember to keep it simple, so the focus remains on the listing you’re showing off.

Step 5: Tap “next”, then input your caption — keep it short and be sure to mention that it’s for sale, with a CTA.

Step 6: Select “edit cover” to either add your own cover or select a moment in the video you’d like to use as the cover image.

Step 7: Scroll down and tag your location so the algorithm shows your content to people interacting with content in the same area.

Step 8: Hit “share.”

Hello Monday

Mondays aren’t really most people’s favourite thing … but what would it look like in a potential buyer’s dream home? Show off the areas in the home where people would spend their Monday mornings.

Brewing a pot of coffee on the kitchen counter, making breakfast on the gorgeous stainless steel stove or serving both on the lovely kitchen table drenched by natural light. Or, maybe your listing has a fantastic home office, as shown in this Reel.

What you’ll need: Three video clips, the first being 2.6 seconds, the second being 2.4 seconds and the last being 2.7 seconds.

How to make it

Step 1: Tap here to view the Reel on Instagram.

Step 2: Tap the “use template” button at the bottom left of your screen.

Step 3: Input your three clips in the order you prefer.

Step 4: You can leave the video without text or add simple text, like this Reel does, in the centre of your video. You can do something like, “Hello Monday” or “Monday morning in your dream home.”

Step 5: Tap “next”, then input your caption — keep it short and sweet with a clear CTA.

Step 6: Select “edit cover” to either add your own cover or select a moment in the video you’d like to use as the cover image.

Step 7: Scroll down and tag your location so the algorithm shows your content to people interacting with content in the same area.

Step 8: Hit “share.”

Spring flowers

Keeping the spring theme going with this one! You can do what this creator did and slowly pan from one side to the other.

Here’s a second idea for this sound: start zoomed in on a table or counter, put down a fresh bouquet of spring flowers and then slowly zoom out (walk backwards) to expand and reveal more of the room.

What you’ll need: A single video clip lasting up to eight seconds.

How to make it

Step 1: Tap here to view the Reel on Instagram.

Step 2: Tap the trending sound, then “use audio” to get started and input your video.

Step 3: Tap “next” and add text to your video if desired.

Step 4: Tap “next”, then input your caption — keep it short and sweet with a clear CTA inviting people to learn more about the listing or to book a private showing.

Step 5: Select “edit cover” to either add your own cover or select a moment in the video you’d like to use as the cover image.

Step 6: Scroll down and tag your location so the algorithm shows your content to people interacting with content in the same area.

Step 7: Hit “share.”

You’re in the right place

Not only is this a great Reel template to show off your latest listing, but you can use this format to show off your team and find some potential followers/buyers.

For your latest listing, show off the best three spots of the home. For non-listing Reels, you can mention unique things or experiences your clients get when working with you. Here’s an example of how I would plan out the text:

Audio: If this is your vibe …
Text: If you’re looking for your dream home

Audio: Or this …
Text: In *your area here*

Audio: Or this …
Text: And need a *describe your team here*

Audio and text: Then you’re in the right place

What you’ll need: You can either just use the audio and add a single video featuring you and your team, or you can do three clips ranging from 1.6 to 6.1 seconds of the items described in your text.

How to make it

Step 1: Tap here to view the Reel on Instagram.

Step 2: Tap the “use template” button at the bottom left of your screen.

Step 3: Input your three clips in the order you prefer.

Step 4: Tap “next” and add your text. Be sure to time the text so it appears and disappears at the right moment.

Step 5: Tap “next” again, then input your caption — keep it short and sweet with a clear CTA.

Step 6: Select “edit cover” to either add your own cover or select a moment in the video you’d like to use as the cover image.

Step 7: Scroll down and tag your location so the algorithm shows your content to people interacting with content in the same area.

Step 8: Hit “share.”
